ALERT UTAH is a one of a kind Medical Alert Company for seniors and those who desire an extra level of safety in their homes or apartments.  ALERT UTAH emergency response system, is also known as a Personal Emergency Response System (PERS).  This system helps seniors and the disabled call for help in the event of an emergency by pressing a small button that is worn around the neck as pendant, or on the wrist.  Anytime help is needed, this button, when pressed, activates an installed emergency console located within the home to connect to ALERT UTAH's local monitoring center, where a caring and professionally trained Care Agent speaks to the subscriber through this console and then sends the appropriate help.  The subscriber does not have to be next to this console for the Care Agent to hear or talk with them.  Because of the State -of-The-Art, two-way voice communication technology employed in our system, our Care Agents are able to speak to and hear the subscriber even when they are in other rooms throughout the home. You may have a minor problem that only requires a neighbor to stop in or you may need immediate medical assistance and someone to notify a family member. No matter what the situation, unlike other response companies, ALERT UTAH will stay on the line with you until EMS arrives. They can worry less and enjoy their independence more  knowing someone is waiting to answer their call for help...anytime...24 hours as day...365 days a year.

Emergency Response Calling Service
Our standard service provides our subscriber's 24-7 monitoring with an immediate response by a ALERT UTAH Care Attendant when the emergency button on the console or pendant is activated. In the event of an emergency, our Trained Care Attendant will immediately contact those responders the family wants to respond and or emergency personnel if needed.   As part of the standard service,  at any time during the day or night, if you feel insecure or unsafe, you can press your pendant to talk to a Care Attendant at no extra charge.
 
FREE General Reminders Amber systems only
Our Free General Reminders can be program as many times per day as needed to sound a tone and display a message reminding subscribers to take their medications or what ever they need to be reminded about.  Customizable to fit the subscriber's needs.

Our Premium Service offers all of the benefits and features of CareLINK, plus "operator assisted" reminders for as many times as needed per day!  Use any combination of the two services listed below and can be used as many times as needed!

The below is customizable to fit the subscriber's needs.

Wellness checks  (Two-way voice)  Amber systems only
The Wellness Verification service is a programmable feature that will open up a personalized conversation with a Care Attendant at our monitoring center.  The reminder times are specified by the subscriber and could include a morning wake-up, a nighttime tuck-in, a wellness check midday, a reminder to perform a specific type of health test, nutritional reminders or it can be customized to meet the needs of the subscriber.

Medication Reminders (Two-way voice)  Amber systems only

The Medication Compliance Monitoring service provides subscribers and their caregivers with the assurance that all medications have been taken as prescribed.  A Care Attendant will immediately alert caregivers if the subscriber has not responded, or if compliance issues are detected.

 

Optional Services Provided by ALERT UTAH!

 AutoCall Medical Alert Button - Add $10.00 per month to the basic service.
ALERT UTAH will get you help when you can't!
Get help fast without pressing your medical pendant.  ALERT UTAH has responded to this need with our new AutoCall Medical Alert system.  This offers all the features and benefits of our basic service plus our advanced Fall Detection pendant that automatically calls our monitoring center if it detects a fall.  What if you are disoriented or unconscious after a fall, having a major stroke or heart attack and you were unable to press your pendant, the AUTOCALL Medical Alert Pendant notifies the monitoring center for you.  This fall detector will not work with the Amber Systems.

Room and Hallway Buttons - Add $5,00 per month to basic service - per button / No additional set up fee
These room, hallway and bathroom buttons comes with adhesive tabs for quick mounting and its attractive design can fit anywhere in your home.  We encourage you to wear your personal help button as often as possible, but we know wearing it 100% of the time can be challenging for some.  That's why we recommend you have at least one room, hallway or bathroom button in a central location on each level of your home.  Room, hallway and bathroom buttons can be easily placed in areas of the home where falls are most likely to occur like near the bed, bathroom or on the staircase.  These buttons are completely wireless.  This room and wall button will not work with the Amber Systems.

VoiceLink (hearing and voice extender) - add $15.00 per month to basic service / One time set up fee of $25.00
A very popular choice for many, the voice extender extends the 2-way voice feature of our ALERT UTAH medical alarm to other areas of your home.  The voice extender is ideal for multi-level homes, large ranch style houses or where the customer may have trouble hearing people talk during normal circumstances.  Works with any system offered by ALERT UTAH.
 
CareLINK Medication Dispensers - Rental- $25.00 per month, plus Sales Tax
Purchase for $169.95 plus sales tax.
 This automated medication dispenser is a convenient device that stores medication under lock and key and hold up to 28 days of medication.  You as a family member, can now have the peace of mind that your loved one will now be able to manage their medication schedule in a way that will help them remain at home.


Language Interpretation Services - Included in both CareLINK and CareLINK Plus
 Language Fact:  About 6,700  languages are spoken in the world today in 228 countries.
Our Monitoring Center offers interpretation services in over 171 different languages - the most commonly spoken languages around the world.  To ensure the best possible service, we continually update languages based on our evolving subscriber's needs. 

What this service means is; If your loved one speaks Afrikaans, Pampangan or any one of over 171 different languages, they will be able to communicate to our monitoring center in their native language.  The fact is: If someone needs help and that person speaks two or more languages, the person needing the help will want to speak in their native tongue.
